Rod is a City & Guilds qualified dog groomer whose family have been involved in dog showing for over 30 years. Hugely experienced in grooming to show standard; Rod offers a full dog grooming service from his purpose-built studio here at Hope View, Bodenham, Herefordshire, HR1 3HYR
Rod uses only the highest quality grooming products and treatments and is always available to advise on coat care, skin issues and home grooming routines. Rod always tailors his service to suit you and your dog. Unlike other grooming studios we have no set grooming programme. Instead Rod will discuss your individual requirements and create a custom grooming service unique to you.
This might include the following:
- Health Check– this includes a check of the skin for any medical conditions as well as eyes, ears, nails, paws and teeth.
- Preparation for bathing and grooming– brush out to remove dead undercoat, knots and tangles.
- Bathing using a shampoo and conditioner. If your dog requires a shampoo prescribed by your vet please ensure this is available for Rod to use. Spa treatments may be added at additional cost.
- Hand drying – using techniques appropriate to the length of coat and type.

We also offer a range of additional grooming services including, nail trimming, paw treatments, spa treatments and dematting.
